Green Strategy
This awareness and green approach has become an intrinsic value in our business; it is part of our DNA and who we are! In support of this and with specific reference to element #6, each staff member receives a weekly message extracted from a book by Simon Gear “Going Green - 365 Ways to Change Our World”. This is a practical tip for our everyday personal lives to make a contribution towards this cause.

At IMPERIAL we belief that greening the supply chain is more than banning toxic chemical and pollution, it starts with implementing a culture of doing things differently. At IMPERIAL Distribution, we are committed to protecting our environment to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide in order to lessen the threat of global warming.
When we reduce the amount of energy we use, we reduce the amount of natural resources we use and reduce the amount of exhaust emissions that go into the atmosphere from producing energy. Most important of all, when we reduce emissions and our demand for resources, we help to protect the world and a healthy quality of life for future generations to enjoy.
We can reduce energy consumption by utilizing clean alternative energy technologies in conjunction with energy system conservation strategies. These elements and strategies represent the fundamental green theories, which form the foundation of green building. We seek to improve our environmental focus through the adoption of the following principles.
